NextGEN Gallery Voting

NextGEN Gallery Voting was inspired by a request from Troy Schlegel of Schlegel Photography.  He needed a plugin to extend the already awesome NextGEN Gallery plugin, to allow users to rate pictures on his site. The plugin originally fulfilled his exact requirement, to add a drop down with a rating of 1-10 on images inside NextGEN Galleries. Since that first release, I have continued to add new features, including more rating types, and making the voting process ajax-ified.

The plugin allows you to enable voting on your galleries, and individual images inside the galleries. You can choose to show star ratings, a drop down list rated 1 to 10, or thumbs up / thumbs down rating. You can choose if a user needs to be logged in to your site before they are allowed to vote, if they can see the results of the voting so far, and if they can vote on more than once.

Check out this free plugin at the WordPress Plugin Directory.  This is where you will find the latest stable version.

I have recently release a premium add-on to NextGEN Gallery Voting, giving you even more features, including a new voting type. Please check out the new Premium add-on to NextGEN Gallery Voting page for more information.

If you have used it and like it, please rate it on its page at wordpress.org. You could also consider donating. That would really make my day :)

If you have any questions or comments, create a post on the official forum.
